Image quality is generally good, with sharpness satisfactory at both the centre and the edges of the frame when shooting wide open at f/2 and very good from f/2.8 onwards.

The Canon 22mm is super sharp at all settings, however coma softens the far corners a little at f/2.

It's super-compact and performs excellently, so I'd strongly suggest it for the EOS-M,

The Canon EF-M 22mm ƒ/2 STM provided surprisingly sharp results.

@ƒ/2, some corner softness but the majority of the frame is very sharp.

@ƒ/2.8 provides very sharp images, it's tack-sharp from corner to corner.

For a small and relatively inexpensive lens, the Canon EF-M 22mm ƒ/2 STM provides an excellent result.

[소감] 

Canon EF-M 22mm F2 STM

환산화각 35mm 팬케익 렌즈.  105g , 필터 사이즈 43mm ( 다나와 : 23만원,  장터 미사용 신품 : 14만원 )

EOS M 용  EF-M 렌즈군중  최소,최경량. 가장 느린 AF, 가장 시끄러운 STM 렌즈. EF-M 렌즈중 유일하게 IS가 없는 렌즈.
EOS M 의 경우 기본 번들 줌렌즈인 EF-M 18-55 IS STM 이 상대적으로 크고 무거우므로, 표준줌을 대신해 EOS M 의 랜즈캡 역할을 많이 하고 있습니다.

개인적으로 광각에는 큰 욕심이 없고,  EF-M 18-55 IS STM 번들 줌렌즈에 만족하던중이라  끝까지 구입을 망설였지만,
삼성 NX 30mm F2 렌즈 신품 행사가로 해도 23만원인데  겨우 14만원에 이정도 가격과 성능이면 그냥 소장만 해도 ( 가끔 써도 )  가치가 있다고 판단하여 구입했습니다.

그냥......한마디로 좋습니다. 최대 개방에서도 화질이 ㅎㄷㄷ 합니다.
악세사리인 자동 여닫이 앞캡이 3만원이 넘는데 (렌즈 가격의 20% 가 넘는 악세사리라니!!! ) 많은 분들이 22mm 를 위해 사용하실정도로 큰 사랑을 받는 렌즈입니다.
